The Madison Saracen downhill team is now entering its third year and for 2013 there are new bikes, new riders and of course, new kit. Featuring all new designs and team livery for the 2013 race season, this high performance kit is made of supple yet bombproof fabric with vented panels to aid breathability and cooling. Its relaxed fit leaves room for armour and offers the freedom of movement the riders need to negotiate the technical courses that the team encounter. Last week at the London bike show, the Madison Genesis Road team was launched and title sponsor Madison Clothing unveiled the team’s new kit! This video was played at the launch and gives some insight as to how the kit was made, along with interviews with the key people in the process. These stunning pieces have had months of development and work put in them. As preparations continue for the debut season of the Madison Genesis team, we are excited to announce that Volvo Cars UK has come on-board as team sponsor and official car supplier to Madison Genesis. As part of this sponsorship deal the Madison Genesis team will be using the top-of-the-range Volvo XC70 as team support cars. The team cars are the heart of any race team, effectively becoming the main hub of activity during race days and so having vehicles that are up to the task is extremely important. Icebike*2012 served as the stage for the unveiling of the Madison Saracen downhill race teams kit, For the past few months we have been working with the team to produce a range of kit that is not only comfortable to ride in, but will also handle the abuse that frequent DH racing will throw at it, so for the upcoming race season the guys (and girl) will be sporting brand new jerseys, shorts and race pants from Madison clothing, to complement their shiny new bikes.
